Golden Era

Golden Era is the one Nishad show that is not a fixed programme. It is an hour of talk and songs performed by Chandrashekhar Mahamuni alone, and each staging is built around a single figure from Hindi cinema — a singer, an actor or a music director — chosen by whoever is booking it.

That makes it the easiest of these shows to place: no orchestra to seat, no projection to rig, just one performer and a sound system. It was made for Rotary and Lions clubs, senior-citizen groups, festivals and family functions.
