# Sham-e-Rafi

> One voice, twenty styles — an evening with Mohammad Rafi.

- **Tagline (Devanagari):** एक आवाज बीस अंदाज — ‘रफी द सिंगींग सरताज़’
- **Theme type:** Audio-Visual Theme
- **Languages:** Hindi
- **On stage:** Chandrashekhar Mahamuni with a co-singer and an anchor, to musical tracks with projection.
- **Performed by:** Nishad Pune, Pune, India

Mohammed Rafi sang for Dilip Kumar and for Johnny Walker, for Shammi Kapoor and for Guru Dutt, and sounded like a different man each time. Sham-e-Rafi is built on that: एक आवाज बीस अंदाज — one voice, twenty manners.

Nishad stages it two ways — as a mixed programme of his songs, or in the एक आवाज बीस अंदाज form, where the evening is organised by the actors he played back for. It was performed in his birth-centenary year, 2024, and sold out that October. The show was formerly billed as Gaaye Jaa Geet Rafi Ke.
